The Scenario: Three travelers (Jeremy Fields(Co-worker), Phil Skellie (CAMA Director), and I) heading West in a Russian van to seek out where two of our families will be moving next year. The roads were quite different than what many reading this are used too. On our trip of 1400 kilometers (870+ miles), we broke the Ex-Pat speed record of 28 hours by 1 hour, we had only about 600 km(372 miles) of good payment, a bit of spectacular gravel, and then about 2 days worth of very unruly dirt track. (We didn't drive at night, but we did drive through a most excellent blizzard that closed one city down).
A beautiful desolate landscape posed a couple of questions for us: Where do they get water and what do their livestock eat?

Our trip was Amazing. We met with many locals and officials in Hovd. We acquired some good information to start formulating our future involvement in Hovd. As you know, plans are only good for the beginning, because local knowledge is where our growth must be birthed. Thank you all so much for being apart of this journey by supporting us in prayer and financial support. We couldn't do this without you holding the rope!

Were the camels wild? Or are they someone's herd? The Planet Earth documentary says that Bactrian camels are really shy and like to run away, so that's why I was wondering.
