Averi and Eli sport their back to school outfits that Grandma picked out at the Black Market in Ulaanbaatar. What fun!

Eli loves his remote helicopter...he says he wants to marry it...whatever that means! He got to share about his helicopter and the great adventure of finding it with Grandma on the first day of school!

Averi is so excited about going to school she gets her backpack on almost a half hour early!!!

Eli getting ready to get on the bus for the first time with Averi. Notice Mary Ellen, Averi's teacher this month in the front seat. As a mother of 3 of Averi's classmates, she volunteered to teach while we are waiting for Averi's teacher to sell her condo so she can come. We are so blessed by her dedication to our kids! Also, an American couple will be coming Oct.-Dec. temporarily to teach and will be living in the Guest House. We will move out of our apartment early next month, which will be converted into the new Guest House while they are here. We pray Averi's teacher, Karen, will be able to come by the beginning of next year!

What a big boy riding the bus with his crazy sister! The first week of school was definitely a bit crazy but we all survived!! Larry and I started language school as well. We will study Mongolian until the end of the month when we will begin studying Kazakh with our new teacher. We are so excited to embark on this new language adventure and thankful for finding this gem of a teacher. She will help us find a Kazakh family this month. Thanks for praying for the provision of a great Kazakh family to live with and practice our new language with and as we make many adjustments to our schedule and living situation! We are so thankful for you!
