On Sunday the Lord reminded me of one of my favorite passages: “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.” (Acts 4)
We decided to start reading Acts as a family devotional in the mornings. Yesterday we read about Pentecost. “Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting….tongues of fire came to rest on each of them. Then they were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages that they had not known before as Spirit enabled them.”
I cried out to the Lord through hopeful tears, “Enable us LORD! Enable us to speak the Mongolian language just as you enabled the disciples at Pentecost! Loosen our tongues!!!!” The same morning we went to language school and an EARTHQUAKE SHOOK the place where we were sitting!!! PRAISE GOD!
Please join me as I pray! “LORD shake the earth and loosen our tongues and loosen the chains of bondage and injustice from the Mongolian people we are coming to know and love so much as we PRAISE YOUR NAME like Paul and Silas did as they were in prison(Acts 16). Praise you LORD for your POWER and MIGHT! NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR YOU!!! Shake things up in

Wow!! God really is doing something, isn't He? May He keep on shaking and doing His work where you are! It's looking almost certain that the Red Cross will be deploying me to "the blowing of a violent wind" too -- to Gustav . . .
We love you all, Karen & Family :->
