Smokey fires near Redding, California

Smokey Mountains near our friend's home that we stayed in during our time in Redding, California. Pray for our kids!! Lots of coughing and sore throats from all the smoke!

As the mountains smoke in Redding and much of California, we are reminded of our powerful God. We praise Him for His power and might and all that He has in store for us in Mongolia. Over the last few months we have experienced His power and we recognize our own weakness. We thank God for our weaknesses, for His power is made perfect in our weakness. HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT!!! We depend on HIM who will STRENGTHEN US as we GO!

And we pray:

"Part your heavens O Lord and come down,
touch the mountains so that they smoke..."

"May the glory of the Lord endure forever,
may the Lord rejoice in His works,
he who looks at the earth and it trembles
who touches the mountains and they smoke.
