"We give thanks for our goofy kids who bring us so much joy in the midst of trials!!!"We have been seeking God's will for Mongolia. He tells us in his word: "Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for us in Christ Jesus." He also encourages us... "Do not put out the Spirit's fire...May God himself, the God of peace sanctify you through and through...The one who calls you is faithful and He will do it." 1Thes 5:16-23
Just as we see the needs of the people in Mongolia and cry out to God to provide, Jesus and the disciples saw a great need and asked God to provide some loaves and fish. Jesus didn't focus on the little that he had and he didn't get overwhelmed by the many more people in need. Before the food was multiplied in his hands, Jesus gave thanks...He saw that the miracle had already begun with the small amount of food that God provided.
God calls us to meet people's needs and to demonstrate Jesus' love. He calls us and he will do it! We also see God doing many miracles among us. We choose to see the cup 25% full instead of 75% empty. We praise God for the 25%. We choose to give thanks for all that God is doing!
- We give thanks for the 21 cents that Averiana just gave us for Mongolia! Praise God!!!
- We give thanks for our friend who told us God had us on his heart. He will be getting some backpay for an injury and he wants to give 10% to God's mission in Mongolia!
- We give thanks for some friends who have expressed desire to support us financially and are seeking God.
- We give thanks for the 80+ people who desire to pray for us!
We give thanks for our very needed "retreat" time in Tennessee with friends. Our VW came through with another blessing in disguise! We were "stranded" in TN until the mechanic had an opening to fix it 6 days later.
"Jesus is #1!!!"
- We spent lots of time praying, worshiping and strengthening ourselves in the Lord with dearly beloved friends who even sacrificed their master bedroom for us complete with a King size bed with a memory foam mattress! (Heaven on earth!!)
- We give thanks for the new friend we met who gave us some money to help us fix our bus!
- We give thanks for many new friends we met in Tennessee and a couple new friends who are wanting to support us financially!
- We give thanks for friends who are rallying their friends to pray for us as well!
- We give thanks for the free apartment available to us in Darhan, Mongolia.
- We give thanks for the health care that will be paid for and provided to us.
- We give thanks for the missionaries already serving in Mongolia spreading the gospel and praying for us.
- We give thanks for the people who have pledged to support us even though they don't make very much...and are willing to sacrifice...

- We give thanks that God is a BIG God and He can do immeasurably more than we can even ask or imagine! He calls us and He is faithful and He will do it!!!
