We chose the most charming means of transporting around town yesterday...THE CYCLO, a three wheeled pedicab powered by some 'friendly' guys trying to earn a good wage. We enjoyed a tour of China town in Ho Chi Minh City and went to a large Chinese market with lots of various items at cheap prices. Motorbikes, buses, Jitneys, taxis, and bicycles all shared the same road and were going in one hundred different directions. We were glad to be riding instead of driving!
Eli Hien's eyes widened as a lady rode by on her bicycle covered in lots of toys for sale. He leaned over to pick a toy as we rode side by side. She tried to give him the orange tiger, but Eli insisted on the Hello Kitty toy. Averi and Eli will make a great pair!
