We had quite an adventure on the Mekong River Delta tour yesterday! It was great to get out of the city to see some of the countryside and learn a lot about the Vietnamese culture. We got to tour a beautiful tropical island, watch coconut candies being made, taste some exotic tropical fruit, play with some animals and eat lunch at a beautiful restaurant with scrumptious Vietnamese food.Playing with the animals was a lot of fun! An angry monkey tried to snatch my dress as I walked by his cage, which caused a lot of laughs from our friends. Then, Eli practically knocked me over trying to get away from the python! After Daddy "tried it on" he finally decided to touch the end of the tail with much hesitation. He loved hiking through the forest though. It was so much fun to watch him explore!
Please pray for our little Eli Hien...he got sick twice from motion sickness (we think). Poor guy was quite a trooper though! He has gotten sick about four times in the last week. We are hoping it's just because he is eating many new foods and too much food altogether! Thanks for your prayers!
