Please join me in my prayers to our heavenly Father:Lord, you call us to you..."Come, all who are thirsty: come to the waters!" When we come, you will water us like well-watered gardens and we will be like springs whose waters never fail! You will flow through us to loose the chains of injustice, to set the oppressed free, to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked. As we share your love with others, you heal us and guide us and satisfy all our needs. You call us "Repairers of Broken Walls and Restorers of Streets with Dwellings." (Isa. 54, 58)
As I watch the walls of this ministry center go up, I think of all the oppressed in our city, especially those whose lives have been devastated by the hurricane. Father, I ask you to use us to loose the chains and set them free! I thank you for allowing us to feed them and clothe them! We desire to do your work, Oh God. Guide us in your ways everlasting. May the hardened walls of people's hearts fall to the ground so that you may rebuild and restore their lives! You are a God who transforms! A God who loves us despite the dark places in our lives. Let your "light break forth like the dawn and the healing quickly appear!" Praise you, Jesus for choosing us to serve you and your children. We are so blessed!

Thank you for praying with us for the ministry center as we watch it transform before our eyes. The Lord reminds us that everything is a process in the making! We ask Him for patience to wait and strength to persevere during the journey. We ask Him to help us enjoy every moment. Like the popular saying, "Life is a journey, not a destination," this ministry is a journey as well. As the building is accomplished, the ministry will grow and the challenges will grow as well. We trust that God is a good God and that He will only give us what we can handle as we grow closer to Him.
Please pray also for the workers that God is providing to help us make the building functional soon. We have 2-3 teams of workers coming from California (already here), Florida, and Nebraska in the next couple weeks. Thank you for praying!
