Day at the Zoo and other news...

Eli's first time to the zoo was fun! He got really excited seeing the animals and learning to say the word "Mon-key". He learns new English words everyday: Mommy, Daddy, Averi, Water...are words that he is remembering on his own. We are so proud of him!

We went to the zoo and the museum with 3 other families that are adopting from Vietnam. There are a total of 8 families. We are enjoying each other's company and sharing and comparing "war" stories. It's great to see how all the children are attaching and fitting so well with the parents God ordained for them.

We all went to dinner together at the Rose Garden Restaurant last night...one of the world's best bars...or so the slogan says. It is on top of our hotel overlooking the city and decorated with beautiful greenery and statues of elephants, horses, pagodas, etc. It is quite a sight!

We are almost half way through the process here. We went to the Doc yesterday and CIS (Immigration) today or tomorrow. We may get to leave for Hanoi as soon as Sunday to finish up all the paperwork and be finished by mid-week next week. Please pray for expedited paperwork, safe travels to appointments and to Hanoi, and good communication between us and our coordinator. We also hope to see some of the countryside and experience some more of the culture here so that we can share stories with Eli! Thank you for your prayers!
