End of Year Highlights
2009 ended with a BANG!!! We stayed up til midnight to watch thousands of fireworks right outside our window. (Many exploded only 15 or 20 feet above the ground!) Mongolians sure know how to celebrate the New Year! The child in me just couldn't help but run outside to join the excitement...even in -30 degree weather! Of course, Averi and Eli loved getting all bundled up at midnight to run around outside under the lit up sky!
WHAT? How on earth is my baby girl 9 already??? Averi celebrated a Hannah Montana birthday with her best girl friends by getting all dolled up, singing karaoke, and then watching the new Hannah Montana movie on the big screen when ALL 15 of her friends joined us (thanks to our new projector)!
We praise the Lord for many presents coming in the mail in the "ST. NICK" of time!!! We received 3 huge packages on Christmas Eve full of lots of goodies!!! FUN FUN!!!!
Averi and 4 of her friends performed their beautiful waltz for all of their classmates and parents at the open house mid December. So graceful!
Eli and the other "Mighty Men" demonstrated many exercises Uncle Larry taught them this past semester during PE. Watch out! These guys are crazy strong!!!
