"Amar ban oh!"
Averi greets Eli as she kisses him on the cheek to observe the "White Moon" New Year traditions here in Mongolia. We are excited to participate in this joyous occasion with our Mongolian friends.

Larry eats his 15th Bode...Mongolian word for very tasty, very fattening meat dumplings. On average we ate between 3-8 bodes at each house today (not to mention all the other traditional treats....dairy products, tea, candy, pickles, sausage, sheep meat, potato salad, etc.) We have 4 or 5 houses to visit tomorrow and maybe even more the next day!!! It's like Thanksgiving for 3 days!!!

Sovdaa (Krista's Mongolian name meaning Pearl) smiles with delight and thankfulness for her new language teacher, Oyounga. Thank the Lord for her!!!
