Dentist Diaries...

If you are anything like Larry, singing praise songs and going to the dentist do not go hand and hand! But after it was all said and done, our entire family was singing Hallelujah at the top of our lungs!!! (especially the kids...Averiana and Eli were so brave for their first visit to the dentist that the dental assistants spoiled them with lots of treats from the treasure box!)

Dr. Anderson from Santa Rosa Alliance Church approached us after service to tell us he is going to Mongolia for a short trip in June to provide dental care. He asked us if we needed any dental care before we go. "Do we?!!?" I had told Larry a couple days before that our first priority upon getting back to Louisiana was to schedule dental appointments for all of us even if we had to choke down a huge bill. (Unfortunately, we had been putting off dental care for years because we have no insurance...)

Dr. Anderson told us to come in the following morning (which just so happened to be our only "free" day for over the entire 2 weeks in Cali) and he would try to fit us in. Because so many people cancelled, he had almost the entire day free for us! We all got cleanings, X-rays, and Averi and I got some cavities filled.

Dr. Anderson and his staff blessed us with all that dental work as an awesome gift to help us get to Mongolia!!! God is so faithful...even in the details!
