What fun we have when we blast some worship music and dance around our living room...what fun we have when the kids break out in singing and drumming and dancing...and this is just a taste of the joy we will experience when we see Jesus face to face! What a glorious celebration that will be!Averi is our lil woman of praise...always singing songs of gratitude in her heart to God. She brings such joy as she praises the Lord. She wrote down a praise song to God using her new writing and spelling skills to glorify the Lord this week. She was soooo excited and carried the song around with her singing it over and over for days!
Eli is our lil man of prayer...never ceasing...always praying. He is always the one to initiate prayer before meals and never lets us escape his bedroom at night without praying for him. And once is never enough! He has gotta make sure he is covered by Mommy and Daddy both. At church he raises his hand every Sunday to share his prayer request. "Mongolia" he says. He is so eager to go to Mongolia and "ride horseys"!
As I shared last time, we are so blessed to have such amazing children entrusted to us by God. My prayer is that we never take them for granted. It's so easy to get distracted with the hustle and bustle of life and ministry. When we are looking for opportunities to share the love of God with others, "Please God don't let us miss the people (and lil people) you have put right in front us!"
