Who is Tyler Durden?

So, for the last month the fitness club has seen some ups and downs in its attendance mostly due to the fact that planting season started in the beginning of May. Well, that and the school year is wrapping up at the end May as well. Many of my guys are too tired after working in the fields all day long to come workout...strange, eh? ;-)

But even still...many of the guys come to the club to hang out and talk and some come to wrestle! The club is home to 5 Kazakh Mongolian wrestlers...not including Eli who is featured above. Does the Mighty Men fitness club have a full fledged Fight Club in its basement? No, our club has only one room, so the nightly wrestling has to take place after the work is done!

So, where is the club heading in the months to come? We are looking into potentially partnering with a local school that is obtaining a grant to rebuild their soccer field and basketball court. They are also hoping to put a bleacher building in that would house a small gym and locker room. The hopes would be that they could utilize the gym during school hours and we could utilize it during evening hours. We would provide the equipment and they would provide the space and heat. We are not sure on all the details, but at this point the equipment would belong to the club and would be housed at the school for 2 years rent free (proposed) and after that we would renegotiate the contract. (equip usage for rent).

Here are some of the possibilities:
1. Hosting quarterly tournaments (potentially more)
2. Sports and/or Lifting Camps: Where teams from the U.S./ local teams could host athletes.
3. School: Teaching health and fitness within the school walls.
4. Equipment: The school is in desperate need of some basic equipment for the younger children. The last time I was there there were only a couple flat balls for approximately forty kids.... So, I believe they are in need of some basic things such as volleyballs, basketballs, soccer balls, jump ropes, and cones, etc...
