We said goodbye to our ger on Saturday to move into our new cute and cozy rental house in the same neighborhood (in Kazakh goodbye is "Sow-ball" -ow pronounced like ouch). We will still eat dinner with our Kazakh host family 2-3 nights a week. They live a short 3-5 minute drive from our new home.
Come in!!! We would love to serve you some warm "sue tae tsae" (Salty milk tea) in our warm and cozy kitchen! Our wood stove and heat wall keep our house nice and toasty. Don't forget to keep the fire burning!!! (By the way, the kitchen is usually the room you enter and visit with the host in a Mongolian or Kazakh home.)
Introducing our quaint little bungalow. Room for a couple dressers and a bed. Just perfect for 2 :)
Here we have the kids "Great Room". Wow! They have so much room to play! Feel free to join our family "dance parties" and daily "exercise classes" in this room!
Last but not least...our "bathroom" storage area. Eventually we will have a small composting pot so we don't have to go outside in the midde of the night to use the outhouse. We are looking forward to that!
We thank the Lord for providing a little home for us until we leave for Thailand for a conference the end of February. Soon thereafter, we will be heading to the States to visit with all of our wonderful friends and family! Can't wait to see all of you!!!
