One week ago the floodgates opened (after reading Malachi 5 the same morning)...and our apartment filled with about 2-3" of water! Larry injured his hand in the hot water and Krista fought to get everything up off the floor. When all was said and done, our apartment was "cleansed"and everything was saved except for the carpet and the linoleum. The kids enjoy "skating" around on our new linoleum and thankfully Larry's hand is healing quickly. Thank you for your prayers!
It all started with the sound like a "trumpet" (hammering pipes) and a rusty old valve that literally flew off in Larry's hand. Thank God for our new valves (both were replaced after the flood)
The aftermath...this picture was taken after things settled down a bit...after our linoleum and carpet were ripped up and the water was sopped up by our helper, Enk Toya. We thank God for her help and for the help of Olan bayer(pictured below) who replaced the flooring and the rusty valves!
