Santa Rosa California Prayer Team Blesses our New Home

WOW! So good to see familiar faces here in Mongolia all the way from California!!!! We were so blessed to see our friends from Santa Rosa Alliance as they traveled here to pray. Santa Rosa is one of 4 churches in the Santa Rosa/Napa area who have partnered with the Mongolian field to pray, provide partner care, financial assistance, communication and connectiveness, and yearly short-term trips.

The team joined us for breakfast this morning, which was especially exciting because they were our very first guests in our apartment!!! They prayed for us, blessed our new home, brought us some very cherished goodies and even "fought the good fight" (a VERY painful fight to say the least) to bring our extremely awkward piece of luggage that we left behind in Cali. THANK YOU SANTA ROSA TEAM!!! We miss you already!
We officially moved into the apartment this past weekend. Although it was very sad to leave the ger, we are glad to be feeling settled and to have a comfortable place to study the language. Since there aren't any coffee corners here in Mongolia, we have created a "coffee shop" in our living room so that we can study in a familiar/comfortable environment like we used to do in the States. We have "coffee shop" homework time as a family every afternoon when the kids come home from school. It almost feels like home :)

Hi friends. I am so happy for you that already you've seen some familiar faces. Surely that must help a bit in the transition. It is a small world after all, isn't it?

I love all the purple in your apartment...how appropriate.

Let's skype for real soon, k?

love you guys!
