What its like...

So, we moved back to Mongolia in August and moved to Hovd (Western Mongolia) in September. That puts us here in Hovd for approximately three months. We have moved to Hovd to focus on the Mongolian Kazakhs a people that have strived to maintain their culture and religious identity. In many ways they have succeeded and in many ways they have changed. Three of us have been chosen to learn the Kazakh language, which has its blessings and challenges.

We as a team are working toward small house meetings studying the Creation account. We have, from responding to a felt need, put eight and half meters of pipe in the ground for our first well and have potentially located two more locations for the next ones...We have started a fitness project of which we have been able to come in contact with many young men 16-29 years of age. (while writing this 8 new men came by to check the gym out)..all this while teaching our children, refuelling ourselves and our homes, and attempting to visit our new neighbours.

God is doing many things among us. We are seeing a growth in our team and in our hearts as iron sharpens iron. As we pursue His presences in our small community we hope and pray to model what we hope to see in His new community in Hovd.

Don't despise the small things for they are what God builds His Kingdom upon.
