While I watched Larry tenderly transplant his "babies" into the garden yesterday, I thought about how gently God transplanted us into the Mongolian soil a year ago (fragile and vulnerable as we were when we first arrived!) He had cared for us for years beforehand shaping us and growing us to prepare us for this amazing adventure. Over this past year (will be a year next month!) God has watered us with His Spirit and saturated our soil. Before we came here...all cozy in our safe little indoor pots...our roots could only grow down so far. But now, our roots have grown down deeper into His love as we have been exposed to the challenges of the harsh "outdoor" climate including lots of bugs in the soil...namely lice and scabies...yuck! We are humbled as His sun shines on us and His glory falls in this place. We are excited as we grow closer to the Sun(Son) and deeper into His love. May the harvest be plentiful as God prepares the soil in our hearts and the Mongolian soil as well!

Transplanted to Mongolia
